It has been almost a year since the free version of Universal Analytics was switched off, and we were all forced to work with the shiny, new GA4 platform. It feels like only yesterday. A second important date in the Google Analytics calendar is coming closer: on June 30, Universal Analytics 360 will also cease to exist. This version is the premium, paid Universal Analytics product, which had an additional 12 months to migrate to GA4. Most importantly, though, this means that EVERYONE will lose access to all historic UA data on that very day.
This update means that all Universal Analytics services and APIs will be deactivated, making UA data inaccessible via the Google Analytics front-end and APIs. Here's what you need to know and how to prepare to avoid losing valuable historical insights.
